New bike hauler hits US market

Regarding wheel spin, any full sized van needs a locking differential.
Another problem with the Sprinter...you can't spin the wheels. It has some feature that seems to choke off the engine so that the "foolish" operator can't give it "too" much throttle. Well, you can't give it enough throttle either.

Traction control - needs to be switchable.

One time, I had ABS in a Volvo just give up on me. The traction conditions and my speed did not compute, so it just gave up. The result was not good. I could have stopped that car.

New drivers will never know the skill of braking in the snow. Those were the days...
"see you later mom."
"where are you going in this blizzard?"
"I'm going driving!"

1975 Peugeot 504 GL - especially good on dirt roads :D

Yup. Sounds like what I experienced.
I know how to drive in slippery conditions, as everyone should. The gubment or the manufacturers or the insurance companies, apparently, think they need to save us from having to learn those skills and would rather we just park it and call for help.
