I had talked to the guys that make the Switchblade a loooooong time ago about rigging one up for a gasser, but I never heard back from them and I never pursued it any further.
Back when I was still a dealer, we were selling tons of the AD Boivin Traxion + kits for ATV's and it got me thinking about the two wheel applications up here in Minnesota. Switchblade got a bunch of press that year with a prototype at Indy - then they fell silent. I thought they were dead until my DR came this month.
KTM (the prototypes), Yammies and Honda were where they were starting.
If they got a Gas Gas order (and a bike to check fit) that made it worth the time, I think they'd consider doing it.
Any GG riders living somewhere snowy have money burning a hole in your pocket?
Personally, I find ice screws plenty of fun and quite a bit cheaper than Trelleborg ice tires or a track kit. Gives me something to do with those half worn Michelins at the end of the year.
Not a Gas Gas, but on a side note, imagine the fun you could have with
these on
this in the snow.
