Trusty adj pv

Hi Fellas, So hoping some one could shed some light on the problem.
I'm installing a Trusty ADJ cover which seems very simple design, my issue I cannot remove the left side exhaust valve. I feel in & out play as well as left & right movement but the assembly is not budging. Carbon build up? Solutions?

Thanks, I've read this and more. I believe its carbon build up,but seems the bearings may be pressed in.

Ah I see, maybe try a little heat might help free it up

Capz, closed flame i presume? (elect.heat gun vs torch)

I always punch it out from the other side, as opposed to pulling it.
