Update the bike pic on intro page??

Hi all,

I don't mean to complain but does anyone else think that that the 2012 model bike on the intro page for this site is out of date?

I know volunteer time is hard for me to find personally and I'm sure the webmaster is in the same boat but I think the general public would take Gas Gas more serious if there was a current model on the page.

Just my two cents.

Agreed. I thought the forum was a left over relic when I first visited because of that. Only when I saw new posts did I realize it was still active. A cool idea would be to have forum members submit a picture of their bike and then have the front page cycle thru those photos.

We will update the main page shortly - we will switch the main page over to WordPress so that Jakobi can have some "fun with it".

Haha! Good work Jeff!

Freshly jetted carbs? Come on now. I haven't touched mine in some time. Suspension is the flavour of 2014. Should have seen the shed yesterday. Set of 48mm Zokes laid out pulled down to the shims, TTX cartridges laid out and getting refreshed. New OEM KYB seal kit for the Sachs legs. WP Shock from an 00 Husaberg FC600 freshly serviced with new piston bands and seal head. Little vac pump workin away! Time to order some more fluids!

Cool to see a new pic up, although in my opinion the 12 is a better looking ride. I'd like to see the pic cycle through and show various years of bikes.

I frequent another site called troublefreepool.com.

On that site, members submit a photo of their pool and the site cycles through the photos like a slide show. It's a small thing, but not a bad way to get your members more "invested" in the site.

The front page on gasgasrider.org has now been updated with a pic of the 2014...

That looks much better now!
Didn't mean to be a whiner about the 12' on the page. I am a Gasser Convert (formerly KTM). And I think eveyone should ride a Gasser, so if they see a bad @ss looking 14 on the cover page it looks more professional in my oppinion.

Howzabout updating to a 2015 model?
Sure would look a lot better when a newb comes to site for first visit...
Ya know the first thing anyone ask about is "where do you get parts?"
Lets at least show em we can get bike pics.
