I need a crank for a 200, On mine the inner bearing welded itself to the crank.
A 20 ton press in conjunction with a now broken snap on bearing spliter and tons of heat could'nt seperate the two.

You could cut it off with a dremel wheel, and have the surface plasma sprayed and remachined, if you cannot locate a crank for a good price.

I've got a nearly complete 200 motor left from my bike that I parted out. The clutch is original and slips a bit but the engine started on second or third kick and ran fine when I took it out of the frame. I am the second owner of this bike but I bought it when it was nearly new. The piston and rings are the only parts that have ever been changed on this engine. I think I may have sold the ignition and I did take the power valve bearings out to install in my 300 but I could get some and put it back together if you're interested in a complete motor. It's a 99 ec200. - Ken

Thanks guys. We are going to cut the bearing later today to see if the crank is salvageable. My mechanic told me that in his thirty years he's never seen one on this tight, Gasser I'll keep that offer in mind. Your crank and mine are slightly different, bolt, mine vs circlip, yours for holding the primary gear on.

I had an '01 XC125 crank with a bad journal plasma sprayed and recut, and rebuilt with a Vesra rod kit. Went together fine and still runs great.

Finally got the bearing off. Just as suspected the bearing welded itself to the crank. The receptionist at the local replater quoted me $100.00 to repair the crank half on a single running surface. Gonna take it in tommorow and talk to the shop forman.

Update.Had the crank cleaned up on a lathe, a couple of nicks from the zip cutter, nothing that green loctite cant fix. My buddy pressed it back togrther and got it to within half a thou runout ,first try, good enough indeed!
