Wanted USD forks & triple clamps

All WRs and older YZs had the open chamber fork. There was a CC fork on YZs prior to the SSS as well, but you want the SSS. Keep in mind these will be valved for MX, so a trip to the tuner will be needed to get the most out of them. Nice thing is there is a ton of knowledge and parts on every corner.

Thanks for the offer.

No problem and good luck with your project. We've been working on a fork swap project for a different bike and a couple of other things we ran into for consideration: steering stem length and where/how the steering stops hit on the triple tree.

Thanks for the heads up. My 2000 250 actually uses the upper fork tubes hitting the frame as the steering stop, crude!?

You can use the honda cr stuff, same steering stem length, the honda bearing race is too small to fit the gasser, but suzuki race fits, and they both use the same bearing, i use the twin chamber showa forks from the suzuki, but to do that i have to machine the bottom clamp, there is a standoff that the lower bearing sits on, machine .250 off and then the stem is the proper length for the gasser, i prefer the 47 mm forks over the 49 mm forks, i have had issues with the larger forks having leaking seals, the forks and triples are all over e-bay for pretty good prices

What are your offsets, clamps and axel? Would be nice to know and have another proven option.

Found these steering stops..

That's pretty nice Girard. Leave it to the sport bike guys.

I have a Zocke 48mm without triple clamps for sale, but shipping to US will be a bit expensive.;)
are these the same CC forks that everyone is raving about on the 2012+ bikes? What are you looking at (excl shipping, i have a cowboy due to make a trip from germany to SD pretty soon)
