The Two Wheel Rex Enduro Team, including 2010 AMA/Rekluse National Enduro Series 250B Class Champion Jesse Warner, are pleased to announce we will be riding Gas Gas motorcycles for the 2011 racing season.
We're very thankful for Cam Norris at Indy Moto for helping to make this happen.
Jesse will be primarily contesting AMA District 14 and 15 enduros. His goal is to earn championships in both Districts in the 250A class. He may also compete in some local hare scrambles and observed trials, plus the National Enduro rounds that are fairly close. Cam has also agreed to enter Jesse in the Indianapolis round of the Geico Powersports EnduroCross.
My goal is to complete the 2011 season at the top of the Super Senior A class without getting hurt.
Although we are still waiting to hear from most of our 2010 sponsors, we are pleased to have Kerlin Trailers/Motorsports/Western World, Throttle Jockey/Graphics Lab, and Unabiker pledge their support for 2011.
Jesse's new bike was partially dissected at Throttle Jockey/Graphics Lab yesterday so they can make templates for their awesome custom graphics kits. From there I took the naked bike to Unabiker world headquarters so Brian can design and build a prototype set of radiator guards. The Six Days Edition comes with a lot of sweet bits not found on the standard XC250, including radiator guards. But we wanted to provide Brian with a bike so he can improve on the design and offer them for the standard XCs.
Jesse is chomping at the bit to ride the new bike. I am too. First we're going to get our hands on some used plastic to hang on it for practice/play riding. The special Six Days plastic is going into a box and will never see the trail. Jesse will have another set of plastic with the custom Throttle Jockey graphics (with sponsor logos) for race use only.
As soon as our team's CFO (my wife) releases the funds, I plan to pick up an XC300 for myself from Indy Moto. Got to get the boy settled in first though.
