What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

I rebuilt my engine.
Waiting on powder coating
Sending suspension off for revalving
Ordering transformation kit from the Motocross center.

Oh I set my squish band as well 1.63mm but got nothing else to play with as i'm on one thin base gasket!

Just looked at mine again. She is all dressed up and ready to go. They cancelled the HS tomorrow due to ice storms. :(

I ditched the stock tail light and installed a tusk universal. I was not spending 90$ on another stocker after the second one broke.

I started and rode both of my GasGas bikes yesterday. Just at home in the yard but it was still fun :D .

fixed my side stand bracket, it snapped by the upper bolt so welded a 2mm plate on the back of it just needs a lick of paint

Drilled some little holes and secured those upper radiator shroud rubber bushings with safety wire.image.jpg

That's exactly what I did to my stand bracket except mine wasn't removable so I welded to grade 8 washers on each side of the tear and buffed it up good as new!

That is a REALLY good idea I'm going to do that!!

I can't take credit for coming up with it, I saw it in another thread on here. I think it might have been Stu again.

This is why I started the thread. There are so many clever ideas hidden deep in the threads. A thread like this brings them out in the open and exposes them without you having to even be looking for it.

Well it's working I'm glad you started it

I pulled off both wheels cleaned bearings, spacers, axles, chain adjusters.A lot of rust on the adjuster bolts that pass to into the inside of the swingarm, wt!, how does that much water get inside the swingarm? Well, it was time well spent. Gonna grease the suspension linkage tomorrow.

Just general cleaning this weekend! :D

Started getting her ready for the winter rides, grip heaters studded up the spare wheels, raised the needle 1 clip and took off the ICO and put on the GPS. Let go cut some trail for next years enduro. Bring on the snow!
