What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

found them on fleabay. They are graphicMX. I think replica for 2005 year model. I modified them slightly. they had their logo on it way to many times.

I had worked up some different graphics on my cad system (see pic below) but ended up getting the fleabay ones since they were cheap. Bike in pic below is not mine, just a picture I found on the internet with white plastics (before I had white plastics on mine) so I could draft a design overlay.

that bike already had a blue frame. I'm not very good at photoshop and couldn't change it to silver which my bike is.

I installed the foam Guts soft seat. The 1st impression was not good, it does not seem softer than the OEM ... need to sit and walk on the bike to a definite opinion.

Fastway F3 pegs.

Just watch the fastway pegs folding back onto the rear brake bolt. On my '14 every time the bike goes down reasonably hard on the right hand side the peg pushes onto the brake bolt and actually bends the tab that is welded to the frame inwards. You can tell when this happens because your brake pedal will suddenly have heaps of clearance between it and the clutch cover. I love these legs but I may end up swapping them or for this reason. Every time it bends and is re-bent it gets a bit weaker...

Updating ....

Not worth the investment, very hard foam, almost equal to OEM.

Fastway F3 pegs.

Be careful riding in the low peg position. Scary foot ripping off pegs where we ride. Rock deep whoops logs seem to attract the foot in the low position. since I raised mine the problem has disappeared.

Unfortunately my foam has practically no difference to the OEM. On the package contained a description of soft density and original height.

I paid enough for shipping and taxes and not worth the investment. Really very disappointed.

Contact them. I found their customer service dept to be very helpful. I had a cover tear during assembly where some stitching let go and was very disappointed. They sent out a replacement at no cost (and that was to Australia).

They may have sent you the normal compound instead of soft? I thought there was very little difference between their normal vs 2010 OEM, with Gutz maybe being a touch firmer even. The other thing is that there is very little foam up around the tank so regardless of how soft it is the seat frame can be felt to a certain extent.

Before buying the foam, Gutz contacted and asked at what density the OEM foam amount toward their models, and I was told that the OEM foam is equivalent to Hard density. For this soon bought the Soft model, but it is hard as OEM ...

I will contact the shop where I made the purchase, explain my discontent and hope to get a satisfactory result.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Rebuilt the engine, new hearings & seals, some plastics and painted the frame on the ol' 05.

I just checked mine and there is a stop built in the leg that stops it from folding too far. It's pretty far from the bolt.

It does however hit the kickstand on the other side. I'll have to see how that goes.
