what is eta of 300 estart

Really this factory level messup is NOTHING new with GG...is it?? Bikes being slow to get here and delayed seems to be the GG norm....it's sad. Nice product, but until the factory decides to correct their woes and meet production, they will not grow...maybe they don't want to grow, just continue to focus on WEC, and keep their own little gig going as is??!!

I'm not sure it's GG fault entirely. Spain, along with some other countries (Italy, Greece to name a couple) are going through a lot of pain at the moment. Social and economic upheaval still dominate those countries.

Barry is correct. Ohlins is having a problem delivering shocks. Kehin is having a problem delivering carbs. Obviously the biggest delay was from the factory's screw up on the air filter but the other vendors have added to the delays. We just got in a few bikes for magazines and support riders and they were shipped without carbs and shocks. They shipped the carbs and shocks separately and I have to go down to the warehouse next week to install those on the mag test bikes before we can ship them out. I'm gonna let the support riders do their own install!

This is the first newly developed bike under Ramon Puente's management and I am sure he will never forget the lessons learned here.

Mark at Go Fasters keeps telling me that this problem is much better to have than the problems caused by GG bring in the 450 EFI motor when it was not fully tested.

If you do, the bike will be late being delivered! Just kidding, JD!

LOL!
Too funny!
On another note, the nicest new bike I had ever owned was a 2010 Husaberg FE570... Until I waited for my 2012 GasGas 300...
I can't even begin to describe the quality of fit and finish on this machine. I have to work on the jetting a bit more, but that's always ongoing, really...

I was told today that the 300 E starts did not ship. Just kidding! :D
They are due at the port on May 10th.

on it's way!

Hmmm. Came across this today heading towards Georgia from the Port of San Feliu de Guixols. The red container has me curious. :D

On the 27th. Only 23 250s will be here for '12, and only half of those kick starts.

That is just sad and pathetic on GasGas's part. They really had some momentum built up with the 11xc's, and then they go and do something stupid like this late release BS of the 12's. Clay and CO. must be pissed. Without a doubt they lost a bunch of potential riders and $ on 12' GasGas bikes. If this is how GasGas's business practices are going to be, as much as I like my 11xc. Sadly,I may have to look at other manufactures for my race bikes.

Look on the bright side, you could have bought a 350 KTM, they only needed 4 (or was it 5?) separate recalls on faulty parts that could cause catastrophic engine failure. At least GasGas waited to fix the problems they found instead of letting the bikes out for the public to discover.

If you haven't already built a bike for the 2012 season then why bother? You can get another brand, but I have to tell you the 2012 is a pretty awesome bike. I would not trade it for any other brand and I've ridden several "other" 12's. I'm not brand loyal, but the gasser is really wearing on me!

I'm all set for this years racing season. I'm going to use my 11xc 250 for another season, but I'll be looking for a new bike next FALL to setup for next year. I was just thinking about the guys who wanted bikes, but could not get them before the start of there riding/racing season.

Noobi, I know of 2 guys that just got 11' 350's. One of them the fuel pump lasted 1 week before it broke, and rode the other one, which is still going, I rode, and was not very impressed with the engine in it.
