The dogs and I were freezing at mid day when we went for our mid day walk . And that was the warmest time of the day . But that means I get to put my spikes on Florida guys did you every ride sideways on the ice ? It is lots of fun

I visted Lubbock Texas some years ago in the fall. It was funny to see people breaking out the winter coats because the temperature had dropped to 80 F. I was roasting and was checking to make sure the air conditioning was on.

We're going to send you some more cold weather. We have more than enough here for everyone. The jet stream is actually curving lower into the US. It's not even a polar vortex .... yet.

Its totally fair, 6 months time it will be cold & wet.

But today is supposed to get to 27degC (80F) which is about as hot as I like it or perhaps a bit too much. Sunday's ride will be dry for sure which is good as last time the crazy muddy uphill was quite a workout.

I guess it is summer time down on the bottom of the world? We have been hovering in the 40's (f) for the last week or so which isn't too bad for the dead of winter. Another full month of winter and then the springtime rains will start rolling in
