I am excited once again, and I will be the first to tell you that I have not been happy doing this stuff for the last 2 years and I am sure it showed in our quality, and in my character. I was starting to give up and concentrate on my retail store as the direction was heading down the wrong road. I don't speak for Clay but the 2012 subframe/airbox was a nightmare along with some other problems but mostly a lack of support from GasGas.

This is changing and as Clay stated, we got a letter from the new investor directly talking about all the short comings from the last 2 years and what they are going to do to rebuild. The 14 hopefully has all the fixes, and I think GasGas will once again have the infrastructure to give us the tools to promote, sell and especially take care of the dealers with aftersales support!

Just received an email from Spain with the 2014 microfiche in an ftp form, that is 6 months quicker than I got them last year. Bikes are promised to have owners manual with them and a updated service manual is coming soon as well.

I'm not crazy about the purple shock, but maybe it will be a quality component. Yes, the rest of the bike looks awesome!

Looks like well thoughout new model. Since the shock is new I sort of like the different color for it. I'm hopeful it is a real improvment. When you look at the factory orange bike no one runs reworked stock components. They all have factory specials. Tells me there are better components available. The Reiger shock may be one of them. I like the evolutionary approach to the motor. By using the same clutch my Rekluse should work. Electric start is not compact and light but I wouldn't buy that anyway. Is it that much better than my 2011 Race that I want a new one - that is really the question that Clay wants to know. I have a fun Beta story. A friend of mine buys a new Beta and has it all set up. Even buys the good Marzocci forks. Rides it one time and calls me up and will give me a sweet deal on it. Said he will have a new KTM by the end of the week. I thought hard about it and just did not see what it would have over my GASGAS. Anyway, the moral of the story is not everyone loves their Beta....

Yes, the reiger shock has low and High Speed damping. I replaced ma Old Sachs by a reiger and i can Tell the Funktion is Same or better than the öhlins 888.
