I think it?s the same as newish Japanese mx bikes. Not sure what years though but probably easier to source
The important factor is the bore size cast into to bottom of the housing.
Ok, But are the newer japanese master cylinders as strong as the euro bikes? I have heard jap brakes are not that strong.
The 07 setup I have has what looks like 11 to me on it.
I think that the main performance difference between your GG and the CR250 is the rotor diameter, GG is 260mm whereas the Honda is 240mm. I would first try an oversized rotor ,I think then that you'll find it similar. Next try a braided brake line, at that point you'll have the same mc, line, caliper, and rotor on both bikes. If you are still not satisfied then you can swap to the 07-present CRF 250/450R only (not 250/450X or 07 cr125/250) front mc which has an improved feel at the lever compared to the earlier unit. From what I can tell the GG mc is the same as the pre 2007 Honda models so if you were to make all of the suggested changes you could obtain greater performance from the Honda vs the GG.
