2011 ec200 piston kit

The Wossner Kit I got from Nik Industries has 2 rings

I love Wossner pistons. I've had the best life from them compared to all other brands I've tried.
In my last statement, I was referring to the Pro-X piston kits.

Jim - Any chance you know if the Wossner piston that's spec'd to work in '03 - '09 GG 200s will still work in an '11?

I haven't been able to get that answer in searching on the web thus far and don't have enough engine knowledge to know why it wouldn't. If my cylinder is a "B" stamped cylinder and the Wossner piston kit is 62.46mm; shouldn't it work?

Yes. The specs on the pistons did not change. The different sized piston and kits have the same GasGas factory part numbers in 2011 as they did back in 1999.
According to the www.wossnerpistons.com web site, the part number for their 200cc "B" piston kit is 8139DB.

i can second that.have a wossner in my '13 from 60hr topend.the part no lists as 8139DA(A spec)gasgas ec200 '03-'09.dia 62.45mm.theres a B and C size also.compare your old wrist pin bearing with your new for width as it is purchased seperately,i was sent one 3mm too narrow.should be same as yz250,cr250,it would have fitted but i wasnt game to try it!
i posted pics in the 2stroke engine section of the stock vertex s3,and the wossner a few weeks back as i was wondering about the differences in design if you want to compare visually
the vertex that came out was clean enough to read 62.44 stamped into crown.the look of the crown is a useful indicator of jetting so take some pics before you scrub it to double check size,or lob it in the bin

The simple "cure" for a wrist pin bearing is to get the Wiseco B1003 wrist pin bearing. (The specification for the wrist pin bearing is the same for the GG 200, 250, & 300; all the same as the '99 Honda CR250.)

The only relatively inexpensive crossover piston kit that I ever found for the 200cc GasGas engine was made by Wiseco. It was designated as a piston kit for the 600cc three cylinder Polaris snow sled (snow mobile).
To the best of my faulty memory, the Wiseco piston kit is for a '96-'98 Indy 600 XCR snowmobile and the piston kit's part number is 2365M062500.

Good Riding and Wrenching!

.

This is the route I took on both my 2000 and 2011 200. Same piston on both.
