2012 or 2013 250?

I believe it is a 2012 EC 250 Guillaume REPLICA. The guy I am buying it from thinks it is a 2013 EC250R. He is the second owner. The weird thing is the Forks are Shiver and the Rims are a bit different looking as no side wall graphics as shown on gasgasmoto. Everything else pretty much looks like the 2012 including the 6 speed tranny with Pedal Selector
VIN# ..VTRCG2530N0420 (minus the last three digits)

any help would be much appreciated as I really like the bike but need to know what I am buying!

The 12 had the brake lever inside the frame unlike the bikes that came before and after
Wheel rim graphics are stickers so may have been removed

thanks for reply but I am hoping someone can decipher the VIN#. I think i got it but want other opinions etc

The 13 rear brake snakes inside the frame too. The 14 moved external again.

VIN makes me think its a 12.

On some 12 models they had the larger tank that extended back over the air filter more.

Has it got a plastic subframe or aluminium?
Is the linkage connecting rod a U shaped single piece, or 2 x separate pieces.

There are some subtle differences in the frame and linkages from 12-14+.

plastic subframe. basically what i think this is is a 2012 Guillaume Replica with 250 racing suspension which =less expensive. I just need to make sure on that VIN before I try to explain to the guy selling it( he bought thinking was a 2013 250R). The letter in the vin is N which would be 2012, I think
