2014 Pics and Ride Report

And now we have Reiger shocks to deal with. From what I've heard, (which is very very little) The shocks will be good. But every day I look at this forum hoping for a decent review of the bike and the initial impressions of the shock. I'm tempted to buy a new bike this year, but I'd like a lot to have SOME feedback of the new shock first..

Is there any info out there?
Chilly White was in TN riding the new bikes this past weekend, & he is a fair guy to write a review. Keep an eye on www.eduro360.com for a report, not up yet but I'm waiting & watching

Did Kevin from Trail Rider and Zack from Innovation Offroad also make the trek?
Not sure if they made it but they were supposed to be there as well
added- I found a post from Innovation Offroad with a picture of the GasGas all muddied up on FB, with this comment- "The 2014 GasGas 300 EC was impressive. Look for a ride report in the coming week! Just a little muddy."

Here is the pre-notice http://www.innovationoffroad.com/2014/02/12/io-editorial-testing-sherco-and-gasgas/ Looks like they made it :-)

Zack was late getting here due to bad weather so he only got to ride Saturday. Kevin Novello got delayed too and got here Sunday afternoon. He rode the GG 300 and Sherco 300 2t and 4t yesterday and today. Pretty much all three guys liked the GG in technical muddy stuff and climbing nasty hills and felt the Shercos were more race worthy.
The changes to the GG are good. The bike is definitely lighter. Still turns like a GG. The Reiger shock felt pretty good but way under sprung for me. It also got a lot of compliments on appearance.

Hi, this is Zack Huberty from Innovation Offroad. Thanks to those that mentioned us above! I will have some further information posted this week. As Clay mentioned, I got to ride all of the bikes but got there late with all of the snow. The Sherco 300 2t was my favorite but the GasGas felt most like what I ride now. Amazing motor.

Rocher must be asleep or in Mexico to have missed that one ;)

"the desert type environments"

for those that have never ridden the desert it is as varied as you can imagine.
you can go from virgin desert at speed to the gnarliest trails where the mountains drop down to endless washes and sand dunes.

Seriously guys, the desert rules. We get to ride year round.

I was born and raised in LA. I first learned to ride in the high desert. We moved to Phoenix for a couple years and experienced some of the best riding the desert has to offer. I now live in the PNW and the stuff here is second to none. Although I still do yearn at times for desert rocks, cactus etc.
