Im guessing you got your parts from haines mc? I use them a lot. A good bunch and always know their stuff good to see it all back together! I had the same o ring issue! In the end I rolled the bigger one round the cylinder for a couple of mins and then it worked ok.

I always tighten my PV nyloc nut. The stock plate has a stud with a shoulder so it does not bind on the actuator rod.

The engine mounts are looking pretty sorry for themselves, so gonna rub em down, zinc prime and paint

Home made for sure.

I had to drill out the nipple for my left side power valve drain as well, when I did my top end a few weeks ago. In my case it was never actually drilled fully thru from the factory. It works now.

I think your right...how does one lose or damage the original brackets.. The joys of buying second hand bikes

Ill rather have the brackets in aluminium rather than steel. But thats just me.

Controll your rear engine mount also, where the swingarm bolt goes thru.
The swingarm-bearings is often forgotten, as a result, the bearings are rusted stuck, so movement gets transfered to the engine and enginemounts.
Since the GG engine do not have steel bushings in the block, the mounts are un-even worn.

If there is a google search for this, the fix is splitting cases, mark center of hole if you can, and mill out bigger hole, push steel bushings in.

Ive just ordered oe brackets and bolts, does anyone know the gg part number for the rubber gas tank strap ? I can't seem to find it in the parts list!

Thanks Stian I'll keep this in mind, as the subframe is off at the moment I've given the rear end a good look over.. Everything seems to be good at this time

I've also used www.motocrosscenter.com I think they're based in Spain, but 2 day turnaround, slightly preferential exchange rate and they seem to keep the more obscure stuff that Haines don't stock.. Still can't find a tank strap though :-(

Click on the motocross centre link I posted and enter BE250136020 in the search field and click the part number reference search

Thanks!
It looks nothing like mine so someone else has obviously previously put a different strap on it. Cant see any in the uk though? Let me know if your ever going to be doing an order for a few bits from them, if youd be happy id bung you some money if youd get the strap as well and then send on to me. Dont really want to spend 15postage on a ?2 part

Sorry mate your about 12hours too late, I ordered mine last night :-(

I'll email them and ask if I can add another one

In the meantime I got all all artistic and got the hi-temp paint out..lol

Ohhh nice look forward to seeing that on the bike! Thanks for the offer of emailing them.

I fancy painting the gas gas on clucth cover red. But by the time I had finished everything else I just wanted to get it all back together!

It frustrating that I'm waiting on parts, the plan was to go out today, I guess I could of as I'm lucky enough to have a Ktm 450 exc too, but still getting over a bout of flu :-(

I've emailed the company and saved a strap in my basket.. Hopefully they will allow my to just pay the extra and send it with last nights order
