Best helmet on the market??

I have Arai Viper GT road helmet and Airoh Stealth Senior mx helmet. Both are M size and both fits perfect to my head.

Man I think you just found my new helmet for me. I really like the look of the bottom pic of the 2011 Airoh Aviator.
Since I will have to order one on line, I wont be able to try one on. I would like it to fit right the first try with out the hassle of a return. You guys that own the Airoh is the sizing comparable to a Arai?

light helmet

I have been wearing a Thor Force carbon helmet for the last couple of years. It fit like my Arai but is lighter. I am needing a new helmet as well but would like it to be as light as my Thor is. Does anybody know the weight on the Airoh's? I think my Thor was rated at 2.7lbs for a small. I am quessing my med. was just slightly heavier. Ross

i finally switched that goddawful bell out. i got a thor force superlight - nice helmet blowout priced at $139 at http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/6/6/15722/ITEM/Thor-Motocross-Force-Superlight-Helmet.aspx - at 1280 grams it's nice and light.


and while i was in helmet buying mode, picked up a shoei vfx-dt for $100

now if i can just find pants/jersey combos for next year for cheap... lotsa closeouts on 2010 gear out there..

The Airoh Stelt is 1000grams! About 2lbs. The airfllow is pretty good but the new Airoh Aviator looks to be vented better and only weighs 900 grams.

Once you wear an Airoh you will think everything else is heavy.

Guys I ordered a new Airoh Stelt helment for my son last week it arrived today. When I signed for the package I thought it was a scope I had ordered or something my wife may have ordered because the box was so LIGHT! I opened the box and wow what a light sweet looking helment. It's unreal. I am sure he will enjoy it and thanks for posting up about them I have never even heard about the brand. I can't belive it got here so quick either. I thought I was going to have to print a pic of it and say well this is what you will be getting. Anyway thanks for the helment post.

best helmet

I have owned several good helmets thor force, weak and currently airoh. I believe the airoh is the best so far. For one reason its manufactured in Italy while the rest have went to China yeah even arai.

My vote is for the top of the line shark. I have experianced a neck injury in the past so light is a must.I was wearing a Shoei, then an Arai. The shark is so light! i have seen the shark do it's job(not on my head)- it did it well.
