Well, did the o'rings. There did seem to be a little dark spot on the head in one area. It may have been from gas leaking past but it could not have been very much. O'rings looked pretty good actually.
The piston had some carbon on it and I scraped it off. The PV also had carbon but decided to leave it alone. The walls looked great.
Filled the radiator to the top of the neck and got bubbles again!!!! And a little foam. So I lowered the level to just over the top of the "fins" and all seems fine.
The bike is running very good and all seems well. I'm glad I changed the o'rings and got to take a look at the cylinder. The piston was nice and tight in the cylinder. The edges looked fine and there was nothing I could see that even looked a little questionable.
Put about 20 miles on her this afternoon.....I love that bike. I expect to get at least 10k miles before I have to do anything to it. My 450FSE worries me much more. I hope it makes it to 5k miles. It came with an FMF pipe but my buddy still had the Kreiger on the shelf and I got it and put it on. Much quieter. No idea which makes more power, I suspect the FMF does but the Kreiger looks 10 times better. I hated the look of the FMF.
