front brake hose

im looking for a braided hose for my 03 gg ec3
all I can find is 96-02 by hel and other brands to.
I thought from 2000 gg used nissin brake and caliper so should these be the same ???
what are you guys using, as I think my home kit braided hose job is flexing coursing a crap spongy brake. everything has been replaced so its got to be this

Have you tried cable tying the lever back to the bars for a few days? It completely solved my spongy front that had been bled repeatedly.

I've done it all changed the master cylinder and piston new seals and pistons in the caliper
I jave to syringe it then bleed it just to get a usable brake
Unless the brake switch is letting by??

Hel kit comes with proper banjo bolts to replace the brake switch type bolt, which is known to contribute to spongy brakes.

i have replaced the front brake hose, then had that lever to handle bar movement still after much bleeding this way and that....im about to eliminate the seals by fitting new master + calliper ones today.i fitted a new bleed nip as the original has deformed from over tightening, it was also muddy & corroded, so back bleeding may contribute to dirt in the system.. the nissins have good feel & power from factory, so the light banjo will work. to get a Certain feel you may like from a MX set up then the switch is replaced, but for woods & all round riding the slight modulation may help..i hope im not in the same place with a suspected slack or deforming hose tolerance problem... later

Did that mate hole you have more luck, my one stops ok but I would fail a MOT it's that bad, the brake switch is the only thing I have not changed
Should the brake hose flex (move) when pulling the brake ???

i guess flex is ok if nothing changes in length or diameter on the hose ?..we replace rubber reinforced brake lines with the ss braided lines for a more consistent & stable pressure.it was a hot day, so i only serviced the forks, brakes tomorrow now..

Had a good chat with a mate of mine he said you must have air in it, I said how I've reverse blead it and blead it the normal way I'm confused. He made the hose and said it's not that or the other bit it's air and they can be a right fooker sometimes to get it all out.
so I have cable tied the lever to the bar hoping in the last attempt of curing it if not I've got my brembo I use for my supermoto I'll just use that

i tried the cable tie thing a week ago it improved the lever travel a bit, but hoping for better i then bled it, only to lose wot i gained and was back to a long travel leaver again...must get these new seals in to day...o i used a spare handle bar and a clean bit of metal plate to act as the disc, so it was off the bike and height independent B&D work mate etc, can make things more accessible.
