GG 2011 300, big ass flat spot at 7k 57mpg

I didn't think that I would be able to get the thing loose! managed to get a set of needle nosed vise grips on it on hold the pin...
looking at the pin, it looks like it was pretty crappy material and has a bubble in the middle that allowed the bolt to shear.

I am guessing that it may stop spooging as much and run better with a functional powervalve?

that's an understatement. with the powervalve shut all the time it will have a big ass flat spot for sure get it fixed and give it a spin, i think you won't believe the difference...

Rob. My 2001 GG pin broke just like that.
I had Robert Silva TIG weld it back on.

Thanks G-man! I just got back from having a buddy weld it. Now, if you wanted to come over and help me do the free play adjustment, I would wheel it into the AC'ed room
