Hi....there are three wires going to the starter. They are attached to two terminals. The enormous hot terminal has two wires, one is a huge red wire from the battery, another is a more modest red wire that has a dark fusible connection in it that goes to the alternator. The third wire goes to the starter solenoid winding and it is Purple.
Schematics don't show any dark white striped wire going to the starter. The starter ground is through the motor square and the motor ground link that goes between the motor and the edge. Notwithstanding, there is a dark white striped wire that goes from the ECM/MAF Splice at J106 and goes to G106 on the motor square behind/over the starter.
On the off chance that your alternator yield is perusing zero you need to check the wiring going among it and the starter hot lead and any associations with the ECM.
