Hi All,
Les Tinius had a very serious heart attack yesterday. He had a quadruple bypass at St Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. He is alive - but the damage to his heart was severe. I am not usually a religious person - but in times like these, I am praying.

I drove up from Portland to his home near Bremerton, Washington today - I will be at his home or at the hospital for the next couple of days. If you have any suspension at his shop or on it's way - please contact me via Private Message with your phone number.

Prayers for Les.

So Sorry to hear that, my prayers are certainly with him and his family.

Sorry to hear the bad news Jeff, but wishing the best for Les. We will keep him in our prayers.

Praying. Your support for him will helpquite a bit, Jeff. It's good to have a friend like you in time of need.

:(

My first experience with Les:

I call LTR because I heard they were Sachs and Zokes friendly, a Tuner in CA had destroyed my wife's suspension and we were running out of options. I had never spoke with Les before I made this call nor had I ever done Buisiness with him. After explaining our months and months suspension troubles he offered to re-work her suspension at a significant discount (talking several hundred $$ discount) because he felt bad about our suspension frustrations.

Thought and Prayers

Since being turned onto him by GasGasMan and Robbie, I have spoken with him several times, very nice guy. I lost my Boss (also my good friend) of 20 years just a week or so ago to a heart attach. The guy just finished 64 miles in prep for the MS150 here in houston. I always tell my wife and kid that I love them before I head out, you never know! Prayers for you Les!

Not a religious person by any means, however my thoughts will be with Les! Here's to a full recovery!

I've not met Les nor spoken to him, but he's obviously a very special man, and it really saddens me to hear that this has happened to him.

I am hoping that things turn out well for him and his family. I am thinking well wishes for him.

Jeff, good luck. Please convey our thoughts to Les.

Here is a pic of Les on the left and Jeff on the right in their easy chairs enjoying themselves at last years Washington Gas Gas Meet N Greet Ride that I host annually. These 2 guys are a tight knit duo, the definition of true friends.

My first experience dealing with Les was very memorable. This is many years ago... I came by his shop to drop off my suspension for the first time. This after using a different company for many years. I had heard from others that he was very good at what he does, and was a Gas Gas specialist.

Well over an hour of friendly talk about bikes, suspension, and whatever else we talked about went by like nothing, he's so personable. Before I got out the door Les had given me a pair of his machined GP radiator braces, and a slave cylinder case guard, among other valuable advise and knowledge for my bike, I was blown away. That case guard has been on everyone of my Gas Gas' and is currently on the 2011.
Sense that day Les has bent over back wards for me doing everything from suspension work to motor and all while under the gun. He is far more than just one of my sponsors, he is a special friend.

Get well soon Les!
