Les Tinius at LT-Racing (LTR) - Please Pray...

Not a religious guy either- but I will have Les and his family in my thoughts as well..... Sounds like an incredible guy that the world needs more of.....

Hang in there, Les! He did the full Monty on my bike just a couple of weeks ago. I pray he recovers.

Those in the know, please keep us updated.
Thanks!

I wish you the best. I am by no means religious either but I have prayed me in 2012 then in the last 30 years. I have seen so many people including myself with a loved one that has been ill. Les did my suspension on my husky that I just recently sold to buy a gasgas. He is just a good person and is the very best at what he does. It shows just on this one thread. My payers are with you and your family. Keep us updated.

In all the years that I have been hanging out on here or over at the old Smackover site, I have never once heard a negative comment about Les or his work. That says a lot about the person in my opinion. I have never understood why such bad things happen to such good people. Get well Les, your in my thoughts and I'm sure in the thoughts of many others.

I have had the good fortune to meet Les in person and visit him at his house. He is the genuine thing.

I met him through other friends and got to know him better when I got the gasser. He is so helpful.

Get well Les!

Although I never met Les in person, I've known him for years and spoken to him many times. Sometimes just to BS and see how things are going. Les is always willing to help me out if I get in a jam, whether it be a quick turn around on a blown shock seal, or a sharing a trick on how to get something out of the ordinary done. Honestly, I lost track of how many times. He is always the guy that is interested in helping you first, and always the guy that I have supported and got others to support. Les has a big advanatge in this terrible situation in his best friend, Jeff. How many of us in our 50s can say that we have had best friends since childhood? I know I wish I could. So, keep pulling for him, and if their is anything we could do I'm sure Jeff will let us know.

It would be a big boost to Les' health if we can flood him with get well cards.:D

Send them to his shop....

Thanks for the address, Girard! That is a great help. I'll get Les a card in the mail.

Over the years, Les has been a great resource, both for when I was running my shop, and for the GasGas enthusiasts around the world. He is meticulous in his work, and thoughtful in his manner. When a problem or need with GasGas came up, Les has been right there with the technique or manufactured part to get the job done. He's been in the thick of the GasGas off-road scene almost since the first; quick to offer help and share that infectious laugh of his.

At various dealer meetings, I have had the privilege to sit in on several of Les's tech seminars on the different forks that GasGas would offer on their bikes over the years. He taught me so much, and has been fantastic for people who I was trying to help, no matter what they were riding.

Get well soon, Les! We are pulling and praying for you.

Jell, please keep us informed as to Les's condition.

I'm thinking of Les and hope he recovers fully. I've only talked to him once, but that's all it took to tell he's a super guy. A real genuine guy I'd say. Obviously he's been big for the sport and the brand. Get well soon.

I'll join the rest of you with those prayers. I'd love to see Les come to full recovery.

Jeff

Hi All,

Sorry for not providing updates along the way. I have been busy "winding down" his business and spending the remaining time at the hospital.

For someone who was clinically dead on saturday - Les is doing *very* well.

He looks better every day. He was pulled off the ventilator yesterday and has just been moved from intensive care to "progressive care".

Thanks for all the positive karma. It's working!

A buddy of ours had a heart attack where he "died" twice during the episode....once in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, and once on the table at the hospital. 6 months later, he was kicking my butt in the woods (again), and he's 8 years older than am I.

Even though it can look horrible, things CAN work out. I am hoping the same for Les, and that he comes through it well.

Thanks for the update. This is terrific news.

Prayers are still coming his way from here! I'm spiritual but not so much religious but having friends in similar situations support from his friends will go a long way. Its good that He has Jeff nearby. I've talked to Les several times over the years and bought product off him and have to say he is one of the truly great ones to deal with.. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and is back on two wheels soon!

Excellent news and thanks for the update. No need to be sorry about getting the update to us you've no doubt had quite a few other things on your plate. Good to have friends in times like these.

Yes, what he said.
Thanks Jeff!
Please tell Les that we are all pulling for him.
