my hanging idle fix

i've been messing around with this hanging idle issue i've had for a bit with this new bike. i've richened pilot and needle, and it still would not consistently drop to idle when i went from wot. occasionally i'd have to drag the clutch/force it to lug to bring it back to idle - i've been thinking it was too lean on the needle.. it's been driving me nuts for 3 races, and was getting to the point where i thought i was gonna get hurt (bike would occasionally be dragging me along........was nasty on a few downhills...) so today i took the slide spring out and compared it to the spring on an earlier bike. the newer bike has a very soft and very short spring, and the older has a much stiffer, much longer (+10mm) spring. stiffer spring appears to have solved the problem. i'm assuming soft spring didn't slam shut slide shut enough... i kinda hope it's fixed, but i kinda wish i could have the soft spring.. it makes the throttle so easy... but it was getting dangerous...

goes to show it's not always jetting.....

You do know the spring around the fuel line works in the carb? Or used to with the screw on cap.
