hello gents, i need a whole new clutch assembly, i keep blowing plates and everything looks fine so i just want to replace the whole issue. let me know what you have

PM me the details Trev. Kms clocking up on my stocker, some notching in both inner and outer baskets/hubs and plates will be reaching tolerance sooner or later.

Roger that jake, just gotta order the rekluse clutch basket today then hopefully overhaul next week.

Trev- make sure you measure your old basket before you order, two different ones available and if they send you the 'common' one and you have the 'uncommon' one (like mine was) either you'll have to have it machined or send it back to them...If you know ahead of time they'll machine it for you...way simpler

Wow really? Does that go for all baskets(Barnett Hinson etc?) that seems crazy that there is 2 different sizes! Did you go with the rekluse basket Fred? How exactly didn't it fit?

The center of the common basket has a smaller hole than the uncommon one. Rekluse makes all their baskets with the smaller hole and then machines it larger as needed. This has been covered before in other threads as well but I just wanted to remind you Here is the link to the instructions from Rekluse

Thanks Fred that was a big help. I've got access to a machine shop so ill just order it but at least I have the heads up!

No I got the core manual clutch from gasgas360 and ordered the basket and rekluse fibre plates from gnarlyparts up here in Canada. I was just so sick of having clutch problems a whole overhaul sounded like the way to go. Maybe I'll keep it for another year if I do the estart too as that's a lot of coin to only use it for half a year

Not to rain on your parade.
But if you have the smaller diameter hole basket and you get the larger Rekluse diameter one you won't be needing a machine shop...........;)

Judging by what the instructions say they all come as the smaller one, you change it if need be the only variable is the ring gear(weird)

That's good.
When I ordered mine from Rekluse they would not send it to me until I actually measured my old one.
I am sure you will be fine.

Bought the clutch basket from mark because he could get it to me faster than the local dealer at the same cost! I know sometimes prices fluctuate but man do I ever get good service and parts availability from gofasters. My local bike shop can't do what he helps me with so thanks mark!

There ya go!

Hey guys can anyone with a core manual tell me if the aftermarket throw out had a snap ring where it centres on the pressure plate??? Got it all together and didn't remeber seeing a groove at the end of the aftermarket rekluse throw out????

On another note the kit is super slick, my stock ring gear was the right fitment for the new clutch basket. I had some serious wear on the oem basket no doubt the reason why I was going threw fibers so often. Anyway here's a few pics of the install.

If you look at the last pic you can see there is no room on the throw out for a snap ring because it is flush to the pressure plate. Was this others experience as well?
