P.C Pipe for a GasGas?

Spotted this pipe on a GG 300 over at Lewisport USA website.

looks like the GG pipe that was on my kids '04 (before he smashed it flat). It stuck way out on the left side also with the long bend.

I didn't think they made a GG pipe. Maybe a KX250 pipe tweaked to fit?

So they do make one! That is a nice find. We should contact them and see exactly what applications they have. That pipe looks very much like an OEM GG pipe from '04 to '07, which is a great pipe IMO for those bikes. I have a spare, but would like a spare for my '12 as well that will fit in the Hyde.

Thanks for the info. My brother is looking for a good used 300. Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks pretty clean. And for an '09 it seems like a good price.
The frame looks different than the twin cro-mo tube on my '11. Are there any other key differences worth knowing about? I see Olin's rear and I assume 'Zoke forks. Everything else I see is the same.

Could very well be the 48mm Sachs up front being a race model too. I know in Aus all the 08/09/10/11 models came with the Sachs forks. Race models got the Ohlins shock. The 10 and 11 had the slimmer plastics and B frame. It gets a bit confusing too as the release times for the R models was closer to the end of the year so some may actually be listed as a 2010 Race, but be a 2009 model bike with extra pretty bits that the 2010 models will get standard etc.

One last question: I take it that the older frame worked just fine and that those years handle like a Gasser should?

Yes, frames had same rake since '05. New subframe and shorter shock in '07. From '07 up or '05/'06 with '07 subframe is right there with the "B" frame bikes as far as performance.

The 07 subframe was a mild improvement over the previous models. I think it is a bit stronger and it certainly is slimmer. I have 07 components in an 05 frame which results in a short bike, I like it because for my height I have short legs. I rode a 2011 and it felt pretty similar to my 07, except it was way prettier.
