Personal Bike comparison

I've just read an article in enduro magazine where the editor was riding various WEC bikes and he commented on David Knights bike as something which is too powerful on the wood tests it constantly wheels spins in the lower gears so you have to short shift up to third before you find traction, and knight confirmed it, he just can't get the power down in any useful way.. Which is why Namboutin is handing him his arse all the time!

I have also ridden a stock (slightly uncorked) crf250x and would think it would be a good bike to bash over rocks all day long, but it was lacking any excitement.
It was like riding my old xr200 with much better suspension.
The 450 i tried was too much, would like to try a 290 or 350 4t

that is why i stick with the 2t 300, i can chug it araound all day off idle, but when i feel like it i can bring out its Mr Hyde personality and wet my pants!

In addition to my new EC250, I also have a 2009 Husky TXC310. It's fully kitted out with Rekluse, Scotts etc. It has the right amount of power for most situations and handles technical trails with ease. I'm keeping this bike because it's so good.

I figured the TXC 310 would make a great trail bike. I have the 2010 TC 250 and it's not bad in the woods but the TXC 310 with e-start and Rekluse sounds like fun. Had the 09 TXC 510 and that = too much weight and power!

I have had a yz250, ktm 300 xcw, and now the ec300 2011, I would like to try one of the 250f gassers and see how they do. A buddy has a yz250f setup for woods and he and it are pretty darn quick in the woods and he can ride all day on it.
