I got good drag characteristics without the anti-squeal kit. But the chatter when the clutch slipped was un-nerving. Really bad. So I threw the x-rings back in.

I'll throw the blue springs in and check it out Monday. I'll post up how they work out.

I had to add the rings and it helped for a while. noticed the last ride or two that it squawked again. will pull it apart and see if the rings are still there or if they vanished. I may try one of their baskets, just have had too many other things to spend $$ on lately: sewer pump, chicken coop, lost glasses - this is eating into my fun money.

"Fun Money" basicly anything that you can skim off before Momma finds out In the Drill'n Bidness we call it "Momma don't know" money. It is pretty rare, so if you haven't seen any before, don't feel badly

Tossed them in and it works perfect!
1 turn + 2 tick marks. Anti Squeal X-rings installed. The engagement is much smoother than with the 3 red springs in.

I took her out and abused the auto-clutch today. No fade and the chatter is tolerable. At the point that things were the hottest, I stopped to check free-play gain. No real change from when its just warmed up.

Now that the code is cracked, I'm VERY happy.
