Where is it?

Wait for it to come out in a future issue. That will be the outcome.

:eek:What ever happen to that shoot out in "Jursey" the other weekend between GG and KTM ??????

Well...first of all it snowed 8 inches on Saturday morning.
A bunch of guys got out there with spiked tires and burned in a loop.
They actually got it down to the dirt. They rode Saturday
afternoon and Sunday morning. Shot a ton of photos on Sunday afternoon.
Kevin Novello, the editor of Trail Rider, gave me the impression that we did really well against the two KTMs. I think the article will be out in TR next month.
Chuck posted a video that he took during the test on our FaceBook page. My favorite part was where I hit Brooks Hamilton with a snowball!

Awesome video thanks for posting it up. It was kinda cool watching the rider chunk that pumpkin at the end LOL. :D

That pic

of the XC er, EC, looks like the one from the test in this months TR.
Regardless, I did tech at a HS this weekend and I must say- the new KTM's have an odd look to them- certainly the side panels and rear fender.
They just look very flimsy and inexpensive- the bikes just have an overall weird look to them- kind of hard to put into words.
I was up close and personal with quite a few bikes this weekend- the 4-5 GG that were there looked great, as did the few 'Bergs- and the rest were, well dirt bikes.... but every '11 KTM kind of baffled me.
By the same token, who cares; Looks are great but it's all about being on the trail.

Yes, but when you go out into the garage, if the look of the bike doesn't excite you or looks "wierd", you wont be fully happy with it.

Cant wait to read the article. Real curious what the riders have to say. My guess will be no coment from Brooks. As the Northeast KTM Rep, he never misses an opertunity to promote KTM every weekend at the races. But What does Ryan have to say, Hr is a Husaberg rider very close to Brooks????

Looking forward to it

Ed,
The testers were Kevin Novello (the A rider), Art Peppin (the B rider) and Billy Freeman ( the C rider). On Sunday they asked Brooks, Ryan Botessi and Kip Komosa to ride for them so Kevin, Art and Billy could take photos and shoot some video. They weren't asking Brooks, Kip and Ryan for opinions of the bike.
Kevin hinted to me that he and Art liked the GG better and Billy liked the XCW the best.

Great job on the test and braving the snow! I've ridden that area down there dozens of times in the 80's and 90's and I've never seen trails down there that wide open, especially not all whooped out? A "real" ECEA course would have favored the GG more! I hope to see more tests in the other magazines!
