Value of 2005 GG EC250

Just looking for some input. What do you think would be the value of a 05 GG EC 250 that is in excellent condition with a Scotts Steering Damper? I have the opportunity to buy one. The guy was asking $2,800 and i have him down to $1,700. This bike supposedly has low hours and looks brand new. What do you guys think?

1700 sounds like a buy to me...if the bike is as he says.

IF I could sell mine for over $2000 I probably would. It's a 2005 EC300 in pretty good condition but it was raced for a couple seasons so couldn't be called perfect.
