What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Good luck to your bike and Keity (and yourself of course) from Norway.
Thanks! I am unable to go to Slovakia myself due to other commitments but I am sure Keity will be well taken care of by our national team :)

I replaced the rear tire with yet another Mitas C18 (green stripe). This time, I got a 120/90, while the old one was a 110/100. Used the old one for approx 30 hours.

I also (a week ago) mounted new S3 footpegs to replace the Talons. I have been very happy with the Talons, but the left one got a crack from all my crashing. They have served me for 5 years (I think) so I guess that's OK. Couldn't get hold of new Talons in a hurry, so I bought the S3, as my Gasgas importer has them in stock. I have only ridden them for an hour or so, but they seem to be similar to the Talons regarding grip.

Have a 2007 Ec300 getting plastic, full motor rebuild and tranny fixed. Bike is great but I lost 6th gear so time to get it all done and be good to go for awhile,

On Saturday I raced the first round of the Norwegian national enduro cup.

To get there, I was a passanger in my friend's van. He has ridden orange bikes for years. But what did I see when I opened the door to push my EC200 into his van? A 2018 Gasgas! Great news. Wow, I have a friend with a 2018 EC250.

The race didn't go that well, but we had a nice day out in the cold and snow. It was -10C and lots and lots of snow everywhere (as it currently is in ourt part of Norway).

This was his first ride on the REAL ENDURO bike. He likes the chassis / suspension (behaves better than his 2017 orange 250), but the motor stopped after a while (more than one hour into the race). The problem was a wet and black spark plug, most likely due to too rich jetting and the cold weather. As he didn't bring a plug in his backpack, he ended with a dnf in his first race on the REAL ENDURO bike. After replacing the plug, it fired right up again. But that was in the paddok after the race, unfortunately.

Are you going to help him with his jetting?
The cold (thick) air should have made it run leaner, so it must be jetted very rich at the throttle setting that he was using the most.

Yes, I have promised to help him. I presume it is jetted as it came from the factory. It has ran approx 20 hours, but I doubt anyone has changes any jets.

I put a new chain and sprockets on the ole girl. DRC 49t light weight steel, 13t front and a D.I.D VX2 x-ring chain. Also here's a pic of the newish dual sport bike, a 2015 TW200 I picked up last fall with 200 miles on it.
