Where are the 2014 reviews/rumors????

Hello Jiikoo811, I only rode the new 2014 250cc as the 300cc was a 2013. The 2013 300cc was similar to 2011 300cc I have ridden. Absolutely no difference in vibrations for the 2013 300cc. The 2014 250 I rode seemed to be a little better than other 250s I have had a chance to ride with respect to vibrations. This is true with both the Keihin and billet SmartCarb and the addition of a welded on flywheel weight (balanced). I also noted a small difference in engine sound but that may have been due to the new FMF Gnarly expansion chamber and new style FMF Q silencer. Please note that this appears to be an early production 2014 so later production models may have refinement.

Picture of Early 2014 250 with old hubs, Ohlins shock, old style brake lever, FMF Gnarly, and new FMF Q that you can't really see because it is so much smaller. Stock plastic already trashed by Endurocross and what's on it was best they could get (I believe he credited Matto Cycles for that). I really think this is a mix of 2013/2014 but that is just my opinion.

What's old is new again - the brake lever is a design change / reversion to the earlier style to keep the pedal from bottoming out on the frame. Silencer looks (or doesn't, because it's hidden) interesting. Paint rubbing off the clutch cover suggests its not the composite piece but in fact the aluminum design, either '13 or '14. Wonder where that Reiger shock went  Definitely a tidier cylinder. Plastic looks ... what's the word ... Mulisha?

That look to be a 2013 to me with some different stickers and a modified brake lever. The engine is definitely not the 2014 style. Have a compare.

Completely agree. The only thing 2014 on this is that rear brake lever - everything else 2013.

Isn't that a GG pipe??

I can see the "GG" on the pipe.

I'm still scratching my head on why the color purple for the Reiger:confused:

Hopefully it is a great shock, BUT, one of the best appealing features is how attractive the GG is, yet let's through a big dab of purple right in the center of it....WTF?:confused:

It's like putting a big purple door decal on a red Ferrari.

Composite clutch cover is in a box in the truck...I saw it...They were worried about breaking it. Reiger suspension is on the way (promised) in the near future. I noticed clutch side case looked no different. Sorry, I was looking at picture of '13 300 with the new FMF Gnarly when I posted...That is a GG pipe. The bike looks much better in the picture than in person as black plastic is just wrong. As I stated above, looks to be a '13/'14 mix so passing judgment is kind of moot. This is not the first time we have seen a "Frankenbike"! Next time I see the bike I will try to get frame number. Here's the other side of the bike.

The 2013 Race models came with the adjustable peg mounts. Base model was welded. In Aus the R also got the Ohlins shock and 48mm Zokes where the standard was Sachs and 45mm Zoke Combo, and an electric starter.

IMO that bike is 99 % a 2013

The reasons that I see.
Ohlins shock
The entire right side engine cover is a 2013 - it does not have any of the upgrades that are discussed for the 2014. The new clutch cover looks completely different then that one. That is the old plastic one.
The handlebars are Renthals - the 2014 handle bars are GasGas new bars
The handlebar clamps are not the new billet ones that are to be on the 2014.
VForce Reed - I would bet this bike has the V3 on it. The 2014's come with the new V4 reed
Those hubs look like they are black - the new 2014 hubs are billet aluminum.
Those spokes are silver - the new 2014 spokes are black.
The cylinder head is cast - the new cylinder head is machined and glossy.

Those are all the things I see on this bike that tells me it is a 2013.

Except for the rear brake pedal.

I am with your input that it is 2013/2104 model......but a hell of lot more a 2013.

Hmmm....it even looks as though that brake lever is not off a 14'? Looks like a modified lever from a different brand. It doesn't look like the same casting angles the new lever has?
