Where did 13t front sprockets go?

Ironman, no, Supersprox, no, can't find any Renthals. Who the heck has 13's right now?

Prefer Renthal or something other than Ironman which seems to chew up the shaft and fit loose.

Thanks.

I just found the same problem. No supersprox, orderd an Ironman and then found out it was on backorder. Ended up getting a JT front sprocket from the local dealer.

ankle grabbing

Had trouble finding one myself - just paid $40(!) for a front 13T sprocket from AOMC, which you get to from ktm-parts.com.

I hope this doesn't mean the aftermarket is starting to withdraw support.

Kind of strange unless it's just coincidence.

I wonder if this company does or would make some? They sponsor our series but I haven't bought anything from them yet.

There is a sprocket maker in Crossville, TN jus down the road from where I grew up. They have made GG front sprockets before for a local dealer and might be persuaded to do so again. We could always do a group buy. I'm up there every week or two because that's where my grand-baby lives. I would be happy to handle the order and mail out the sprockets.

Guys...Since reading this post, I have randomly called 3 different dealers across the country and asked for a 13t and 2 of the 3 had at least 2 different brands in stock. The 3rd dealer normally keeps a decent number of 13s, but he said someone just called in and bought every one of them.

Next step was to check availability thru one of the major aftermarket distributors. 5 of 7 warehouses showed 3 different brands in stock, in healthy numbers. The other 2 warehouses has 3 or less per location.

Lastly I called Mark to make sure he had inventory to sell to dealers. He has OEM, Sun Star, Dirt Tricks and JT, ALL IN STOCK.

So if you need a 13t, then buy it / order it from a GG dealer. THEY ARE AVAIABLE! If your dealer doesn?t have it and says he cant get it, please let me or Mark know, thru a PM ONLY.

Wasn't using my head!

We've got a couple ...

Steven and the other dealers posting on here - my apologies for not looking
here and using the forum first.

This speaks to the problem a little bit - I simply googled "front sprocket 2014 Gas Gas". And the results were very spotty. Ultimately it led me to the $40 sprocket.

I need to remember to use the network of dealers on here for this purpose for sure.

Just an FYI to those interested...

Our dealer Matto Cycles in PA just chimed in to my FB about the sprocket discussion. They always keep a good inventory of high wear parts like sprockets. Their current inventory shows 9-13t JT's in stock at $22.99 each.

:)

Sprockets

Right now I have 9 front sprockets on my shelf. I have about another 50 front sprockets coming in for stock...I should have them all here next week. We are do stock a good bit of Gas Gas parts and are building our stock every day. We here at Matto Cycle are very service driven and know what it take to supply parts. Right now you can order these sprockets by calling us at 570-429-0678 ask for Brad (my son) or BUDD (myself) You can also just get them from our Ebay store.

If you need anything just ask. We will go the extra mile to help with Gas Gas parts. Thanks You, BUDD Matto

Rather hard to do, your PM is set to not receive messages. I tried to reply earlier today to one.

In any case, ordered a front sprocket (and a spare), rear, chain, brake pads, linkage kit, wheel bearings, Tubliss and some other items from one of your dealers.

Still consider GasGas to be one of the premier tight woods bikes. I'm one that fervently hopes they keep it together, competition is good. :)

I think I just go unlucky when Supersprox and Dirt Tricks both said out of stock and the various suppliers I called were too on the 13's. It wasn't confidence inspiring when I posted earlier.
