who wears body armour??

You aren't kidding about the shipping! I took advantage of the free shipping on $150+ and got two.

A note about the Mitas:

Don't freak when you see the new knobs start to wear uneven, in the center rows. They do this initially to a point, stop and wear even. Must have something to do with the way the tire is molded, and or the round profile compared to the other trials tires.

Fresh Moose HD tube, good rimlock, 6-8 PSI and your set.;)

Thanks for the heads up. Trials tires are funny things for sure. From what most people seem to say they work fine until they actually start loosing knobs left and right. 1 or 2 rimlocks???

I can't find those six six one shorts. Somebody post a linky for me please. Do they come with the padded crotch? My evs sorts fell apart after 5 ridings. I will not buy EVS again!

I love my Acerbis Zoom2 chest protector. Since Acerbis has ceased production of them, one can find them for a DEAL different places on the net.

The last I checked, RockyMountain ATV had the Zoom2 for $65 (retail was $125), and the Zoom2 Plus for $79 (retail was $140).

I wear a HJC helmet, over the glasses goggles, gloves, knee pads, Kevco Stubbs kidney belt, Sidi Force SRS boots, and riding pants. In weather less than 55F, I wear a normal jersey. If it is over 55F, I usually wear a Moose Sahara jersey over a "wife beater" undershirt. (Fat Boyz build a lot of body heat with vigorous activity. :) )

When did Acerbis stop production of the Zoom 2 and Zoom 2 Plus? I think it's one of the best chest protectors going for overall protection and the Plus is really good for the big guys.

I need to order one before their gone if this is true.

I just broke in my new Thor Impact jacket yesterday. Very comfy, I hardly felt it once riding. Seems like it covers lots of stuff I don't want to break and holds my gut in with the kidney belt as well. I also wear a Bell 8 helmet, ARC knee guards, and oxtar boots. I usually wear regular pants and shirt in the warmer monthes and old snowboard gear in the winter. I can't see spending a bunch of money for clothes that will be torn up in short order.

Anyone ever try one of the sixsixone core cooler things? Looks kind of bulky, and like it would chaff your neck up. I'm getting the shorts and figured I'd try one if anyone gave it a good review.

I wear a poly long-sleeve compression shirt (an Undergear knock-off from Wal-mart) under a 661 pressure suit. I instantly start to sweat. In the heat, that keeps me cool. In cooler weather, it keeps me warm until I start exerting myself and sweating. When I take a break, the wet poly dries quickly and I don't freeze and shiver. Best of both worlds for me.
