2 Strokes -vs- 4 Strokes

Two versus four. I am a long time two stroke guy, but my KTM 350 has converted me. After racing two serious two day ISDE events, the only complaint I have is the exhaust note. The bike blew 92 db at tech, but after 240 miles of Idaho terrain, I was wishing for earplugs. The power delivery is great, not much different than a 250 or 300 GG, but it makes power from idle all the way to 14,000 rpm. It's amazingly easy to ride.

Interesting bikes, but parts prices are staggering. So much so that it would be basically unaffordable for me rebuild if needed. That exactly what happened to a friends 250, after a lot of aftermarket parts and suspension work it dropped a valve with no warning. Close to $3K in parts, it ended up a part out at a big loss.

Erzberg Rodeo 2013 results, 500 bikes on startline only 15 make it and these was only twostrokers who made it... Best 4stroke was 27...so :D
