2011 Gas Gas Models in the Country

Great news Clay, I have a ear to ear grin right now after reading this. :D

Very excited for the day I set my eyes on her! I can already feel the crowds gathering to get a glimpse of that E start 300. People keep asking me..... so when do you get the new Gas Gas.

Roscoe

Ok Roscoe, you can wake up now.Dreams over.

Clay are there any Race models on the ship?

John,
No race models until February. I'm not sure why they are built so late. I hope to have them earlier next year. We will have 6 Days on the containers in October.
Clay

Aflica and Husky Dude,
No apologizies necessary. I was happy to see the pic of a new GG owner. Dave put in his order a bit later than I did so he asked if he could have a few 300s and 250s from our shipment coming in this week. We intend to work together that way. I'm glad to help my fellow northern Gas Gas brothers!

hey clay quick question, have you heard if there is going to be a nambotin this year and if so will it be like last year and be the last bike to be released?

i think i can answer that , Dave has a part # for them already , and yes it will be late in the year

Yes there will be a 2011 Nambo. Production date is April so May delivery here. I ordered several but I don't think I will get all that I ordered since it is a limited production unit.
I'm riding a 2010 Nambo. Cool motorcycle, huh? I had to get the suspension revalved, too mx oriented for me.

ya clay i totally agree i luv the motor and the suspension out of the box is very good but im also going to have mine re sprung and valved as soon as the snow starts. im really interested to see if its esentially the same bike or if theyll add some additional goodies id find it pretty hard to improve on this one!

NH Rider,
The 2011 250Fs have been pushed back to February delivery. Somhow, three 2010 250Fs showed up on this shipment. I can sell your dealer one of those at a great price if you are interested.
Clay

Sent PM.

I can't wait to see what the 2011 250Fs look like...

Could add a alloy impellar , & Quick release seat, and a XR type chain guide. Actually I would like those on all the gassers.

Yep I heard the same thing.....:)

This will be my first Gasser....I can hardly wait :)

Already ordered some goodies for it...speedo..handguards..tailamp assy

I wouldnt mind some pics from you guys showing the XC...if you have one yet ??

So....I spent the whole week in Georgia waiting on customs to release the bikes. On Thursday they told us that the EPA group had also put a hold on them so they could inspect them. I guess the EPA guys couldn't do their inspection at the same time the Customs guys do theirs. So, now we wait on the EPA to clear them. I was told this may happen since we were new importers of off road motorcycles but it is still pretty frustrating, especially since we are being charged almost $400 per day storage by the pier while this is going on.

It's gonna be a long weekend!

Dam, that sucks:mad: $400 per day:mad:

What exactly does the EPA have to do to the bikes anyway?

You have my permission to have a few cold ones this weekend Clay:D Great job so far and thanks for the update.

EPA=excruciating pain in the @ss

Its all paperwork..taking down the VIN's for matching registration tag's ...making sure they state off highway only..all labels attached etc

wont be too long..I'm sure

all these new models sure look hot !!!

you know..I dont know if its just me...but I find it odd on the GAS GAS euro site that the EC is the basic model probably more street oriented they show no signals/shorty mudflap???...the six days..nambotin and the racing are the supposed cooking models...but there all decked out with lights/directionals and huge mudflap....you cant even see the speedo with those renthal bars

just one of those things i guess:cool:

Because Gas Gas is a european make and we dont need turnsignals and mudflaps and speedos and the like for a bike to be road legal over here..

Think we only got the EC model for years until recently when we now have the cross country and racing as well. the first thing anybody does over here is remove the turnsignals and other stuff, all we need to pass inspection is a horn and numberplate, no need for lights and speedo.

It's gonna be a long weekend!

Hey Clay I do feel for ya man. I would bet this EPA thing is a one time only.
After you make a good rapport with them, things will run a lot smoother.
cheers.gif
