a,b,c piston question ?

I would agree. I have about 135 to 155(I need to look at the hour meter) on my 2011 and it still runs great.:D
I'm going to do a compression check tomorrow and I will post the results.

it's been discussed that compression tests with guages are not very acurate, so you might keep that in mind.
unless you have reading from when it as new, so you can compare... if it has dropped or not.
otherwise i wouldn't worry that much, a 2stroke can keep riding for a long time with loss of compression.
i will ony swap out my piston if i start to notice powerloss, or if ,by my feeling/consciense, it's close to the 200hrs objective :-p

Well.. You can purchase scotchbrite red hones ;)

The goal here is that you simply want to deglaze the cylinder. You're not looking at removing any material from the cylinder itself, just the deposits that have formed on it. I personally find a bit of carb cleaner and a scotchbrite pad brings it up well enough.

I have a B stamp and a .34 piston. Is it ok to go up to a .35 or 36 even? There is some piston slap now and bike has about 85 hours
