anyone want non factory colored plastics?

im getting ahold of several plastic manufacturers to see if one can make me a set of black plastics for my 07(cant find a set, i dont think one exists. YET!)
as with most things. the more you buy the cheaper they are so:
how many of you would be interested in making a large order of some (your favorite color) plastics for your gasser?!?!

i dont see it on gofasters
i saw them on gg website, but even with that set the rear fender is tricolor, red white and black. i want all black.
i guess i could live with a tiny bit of white, since my handguars have them
but wher can i find these other than probably dealer( not a big fan of my local dealer)

Black looks hammered really easily. It shows every imperfection. It's almost as bad as Yamaha blue. I had all black plastic on my sons DRZ 110, I put the yellow back on, the black looks very rough.
On the other hand, I had black shrouds on my '99 250. With the graphics on it, it was protected quite well, and the shrouds stayed looking good for a long time, so if you are careful, it may be great.

After checking on the prices for the stock plastic another option would be nice.

My O6 250 has black shrouds. Maybe Hall's cycle could help you locate some. I also wanted to comment on the polisport plastics. I ordered a set and the red is more like pink and the side plate holes don't match up very well. I'd pay extra for the hebo if I were to do it over again.

I'd be shocked if they were not using the same plastic for all years made.

That seems odd. Polisport has all the pieces in black. How difficult is it to sell the black instead of the red pieces in the kit?

I was turned onto a set of FSE450 shrouds in black and they fit my 01 300ec.

Contact DC Plastics, They might be willing to do small runs of some different colors,I have seen some of their plastic and it ain't bad? They might need some samples as a go by, I know they offered to do some for some for Cafe Husky(Sorry but I have a vintage Husky too) and only needed like 8 or 10 purchasers to make it worthwhile for them? couldn't hurt to ask!

I know their stuff is vacuum as opposed to injection, and it's not fair to compare but....... 3/4 of the stuff I get from them is pretty scary stuff.
I mean, if you need the part, I guess you have no choice but.....

polysport and racetech are producing white plastics.
X-Fun is producing black plastics but only for 2010-... with the new shroud plastics.
Prices here in Germany about 80? to 90? plus shipping

Or must I upgrade to 2005 style plastic?
