I'm under the impression there are no custom fees on motorcycle parts. You should however have had to pay the HST. You probably paid brokerage fees instead.. Always get you stuffed shipped over the border via USPS, UPS and FedEx rape us Canadians with Brokerage..... :(

Ed...

I buy a ton of stuff from the states and I always ship USPS were possible but this was not an option. Also yes this was customs feed not brokerage fees always charged by ups.

one last thing, the pipe feels like its alot thinner than my stock pipe. i think i might need to figure out a way to protect it or it seems like this one might be easy to squish

Keep the feedback coming Trev. Not surprised it feels a bit thinner. They did say it offered significant weight savings over stock.

I pick mine up in the states on Monday, I'll let you know how I make out at customs...

Mine came today, too, but I'm on the road. And my forks ate at LTR so I won't be testing it out for a while.
Bummed about the apearant thinness. I thought I had read that it was rather robust.

well boys heres a few quick pics of the new pipe compared to the old. im not joking when i say im going to DESTROY this thing lol. it feels quite thin and am almost thinking about trading it to someone with a new factory pipe! will see how i feel this week but if i ride this weekend look out, ill post pics and bet this sucker is beat up! not from log hopping and such just from rocks and maybe get offs on the right side. the pipe is quite large compared to the others obviuosly to make up volume higher up on the frame.

Looks like it hangs out quite a bit. I was bummed I got the Scalvini instead when I saw the ground clearance the Arrow has but now I think it was a better move. I have a perfect stock 2011 pipe if you end up not liking it.
