I saw this on http://www.betamotorcycles.net,

"NEW! Beta-Talk.com Discussion Forum
Thanks to Ken Ingham, Beta owners now have a forum to discuss all things Beta-related. Check it out at Beta-Talk.com! We try to keep this page somewhat up-to-date, but for the latest happenings, cool farkles and information, the forum is the place to go."

Click the link, then ....... Is there another Beta Forum? Does American Beta have a forum?

Funny you should ask. Keep yours eyes open for a betarider.org soon ...

Yep - it should be up tonight. betarider.org. Same format as this site, owned by beta community, etc.

I decided I had to make a nice place for "Glenn to hang out". ;)

Glenn needs a place to benchrace his new Beta, that is the way it is when you have a new ride. A new Beta page should grow as quickly as the GG forum has done in the last few years.:)

Whew! I was on Glenn withdrawal. I miss his insight, so I'll be able to get my fix there, even if i don't ride a Beta. Or anything anymore.

I've only ridden off-road once this year. Miserable weather, one kid off to college and sailboat racing, the other with a bad foot from tennis, just haven't been out riding. I weighed the amount of time i spend prepping for a ride, traveling to the trails, traveling home, and cleaning up vs. the hours I actually ride, and the ratio was bad.

Don't ever do that calculation.

I think i'll pick it back up in the fall, or next year for sure. Not to the point i'd want to sell anything.

You have to like wrenching and tinkering on your bike. Otherwise it's not worth it. Nowadays, after one good day of riding and a week of soreness. Tinkering is all I can do.

I like wrenching and working, even went as far a design and prototype a replacement ignition for the Kukosan. I have 8 motorcycles, and this year, i had a few issues with all of them. That, combined with a late spring, put me way behind the 8 ball.

My daughters never took to working on their bikes. That was the plan, but alas, dad does all of the work.

I got sick two years ago and I didn't know if I would be able to ride again. I recovered, so, take it from me, enjoy your wrenching, tinkering and all the time you get to ride.:D:D:D
