Hi! I just bought an EC125 in 2013 and previous owner have switched the ignition when the old broken. I would like to know if he mounted the new correct? I just find a mark on the firing plate near one of the fixing screws, but not where it should point? Low / midrange lacks power.

Forget about the marking. The beginning of the nose on the fly wheel should be about in the middle of the sensor when the piston is in the upper dead position.

I made a punch mark by myself for maintenance

On the 125 you don't need a digital indicator, it work very good like I described it !

Thanks for the reply! Have tried to adjust according to your photo, but it is poor throttle response at low / mid registers anyway. Previous owner have welded expansion chamber, resulting that it has a much smaller diameter that can certainly affect so I try to buy a new one.

Tr to bring the beginning of the nose in the middle of the sensor when the piston is in top dead end position.
