Gas Gas 2012 Six Days

me and a buddy were talking about colors last year when they decided to make all the bikes red and thought they were working toward the branding of the bike to make it more recognizable. ktm has orange, honda red, kawi green, and gasgas whatever strikes the factory that year! i like the anticipation of seeing what there coming out with every year but i think its hard to get people to notice the brand image if the colors change so drastically every year. i had a guy ask my riding buddy if my 2010 nambotin was a chinese knock off:eek: obviously an extremely uneducated guy(i laughed my ass off) but my point being all the other lines are quite recognizable at a glance and this helps marketablity and sales (one would think)

think you are right.
At Erzberg there were loads of GG bikes, but unless you knew them you would not have noticed it, unlike the pumpkins that are all the same colour for the past 10 years or so

They did that in '07, decided on red as the corporate color. Lasted two years and then changed their minds.

With all the main colors taken ,to make the color say GASGAS , they would need to go a different shade of a color already taken (as in TM has blue & Yam has Blue but they are different), Or maybe go with a two color scheme (as in Husaberg).

The Red frame does attract attention . When some of my buddies first saw my SIX DAYS they went on & on about the red frame.
