Hello fellow gassers, looking for some info. from you that have done the transformation. 1 how are you connecting you headlight plug my 2002 is completely different from the one from kit and I don't want to butcher my harness. 2 what is the bag of assorted hard wear with the spring, red aluminum shaft, white clips ect. and how are you mounting the cdi on the sub frame, the old sub f. has a platform with a band on it?

This is what I did
-Headlight, replaced end with a connector from the auto parts store.
-The assorted hardware bag is the tension spring and mounting rod for the air cleaner. The white parts should be for mounting the headlight.
-I modified my original CDI mount and mounted it to a piece of aluminum that mounted to the rear inner fender. Or get the 2011 CDI holder and strap.

Good luck! They don't give you all the hardware you'll need.:(

Wow that was fast! Thank you for the fast reply. Good info. Oh and the rivet looking pins on air boot panel do they just mount male female or do you actually use rivet tool and permanently join to the side panels?

if I'm thinking of the same part, they just locate them = male /female.

This is my 06 EC200 with '11 plastics and "2012 Carrera" stickers.
The yellow front fender looks somewhat misplaced, but it was the best could do at the time. The plan is to replace it with a red one in due time, but making the '11 fender fit the KYB triple clamps was more than I was able to handle the day I had to finish the bike for the next race.

The bike also has KYB forks off a 08 YZ250F, a Scott steering damper and a 38mm Lectron.

They are OEM Gasgas stickers from the Motocrosscenter.com. I bought it as a "transformation kit" named "Carreras 2012"
http://www.motocrosscenter.com/ecommerce/product_info.php?cPath=667_668_520&products_id=2899

There seem to be a plastics and sticker kit as well:

None of the above are in stock at the moment according to motocrosscenter.com, but send them a mail, they may have some coming in the future.

Just ordered my Suomi graphics for my 2005 EC300.

Does any-one have the spec of the Dzuz fastener and clip for the seat - anything else I need that I should order before the kit arrives?

Also ordered a tubliss 18 and 21 combo.

Can't wait to ride it when it's back together!

It's a tee nut that fits in the sub/inner fender, then bolted down from above.
Through seat using the red washer. hope this helps.

Airbox

The new airbox boot (suomi) then does without any of the metal surrounds that my 2005 had the green parts that the old filter housing bolted to... is that right - that's how it looks from the online fische I guess it saves weight!

Trying to figure out how these headlight/brake line brackets are positioned.

http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche...pe=13&make=gasgasdb&a=95&b=16&c=0&d=-PLASTICS

Part #6

Does that bolt into the lower left hole of the headlight bracket? Can't figure out where else it would go.

Also...is there a grommet for the lower mount where the headlight fits into (part #5)? Seems like there should be, it's kinda just in there loose otherwise.

Part 6 gets bolted to your lower triple clamps as a brake line guide. Yes there is a grommet, it's the same as a silencer grommet. Those Spaniards love using the same parts.

That's what first got me interested in selling GasGas bikes and their parts when we ran Smackover Motor Sports. I felt it would be easier to actually inventory parts for what I was selling, so I could better support my customers.

I just got in some new graphics from Graphicsmx.com

The order arrived in a week, and that was after they custom made what I ordered.
They look great.

They are having a sale on some older model graphics (including GasGas) that they have in stock.

.They have a good selection of graphics patterns available for GasGas bikes
