Does anyone know how much those pipes are, and what sort of power increases can be expected?
So the other day I picked up my steering stem from the machine shop, complete with a new bearing and the dust shield they fabricated. I packed the bearings with grease and started to put the front end back together.
You may notice that the wiring loom has been simplified, eliminating the rats nest that used to hang behind the headlight.
And the finished product(minus front brake and barkbusters). I'm really happy with the result. Fired up first kick once I had the right plug in it.
I wish I had the patience/time/motivation to bring my old girl back to that spec. I still can't bring myself to bolt up the 2011 headlight and fender.. Doesn't do much for me.
Fitted a pirelli mt43 last week and some "Paulos Pegs" ( tm pat pend) this week. A couple of rides in on the tire and I absolutely love it, no worse than a knobby anywhere and better in a lot of situations. The pegs are a winner too. Bit of a guesstimate location-wise, but they're good on fire trails and up hills and don't get in the way on downhills.
This not my bike - this is promo pic of Fantic, GasGas's secret twin brother from Italy . Pics of my bike will be posted tomorrow. But yes, it's Metzeler 6 days extreme on the pic. 140 according to brochure. I am not sure I'd run 140 tire on 125 cc bike.woow that looks good the hole bike looks awesome. .its that a 6 days extreme tyre? 120 or 140??
Swingarm installed, 2011 Cervantes replica stickers also.Whoaa, rear swingarm on my bike is shiny red now - sandblasted and powdercoated. Yes, I know this does not make me any faster but it makes my bike look better and I did not like how battered it was previously.
