What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Found out why the rear brakes weren't:

Could not find a rear m/c rebuild kit for a 2001 XC250 so I did a little digging and it appears it is the same m/c that is used in the 87 - 01 Honda CR250. So I ordered one of those and it fit perfect. I have a rear brake again.

Guess I probably should order a front m/c rebuild kit soon.

Granted the bike is a 2001 but the guy I bought it from didn't ride it much and it sat most of the 10 years that he owned it (original owner). Finally replaced the tires last year and noticed that according to the date code they were the original tires.

Put on a set of S12's:

Also replaced the fork seals and resprung the bike for my weight when I first got it:

Stripped it to the bare frame, gonna service suspension, top end, powder coat frame and swing arm, service all the bearings, new plastic & graphics

Just upgrade to a 2013+ Fred :D

I did the math Jake...not happening for a while:rolleyes:

All stripped and ready for the blaster, protective screws & bolts installed. Going with a white frame, maybe stay black on the swing arm

She'll look nice! Are you decking it out in 2011 kit too? Will this be the first time servicing the TTX gear since Evan set it all up?
