What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Hope to get more done this weekend. She's been sitting for close to a year

After smashing my third golf ball light switch thingy I refuse to pay stupid amounts of money for another one. So I wired up a cheap Chinese light switch on the left and put a KTM style starter button/kill switch on the right side. All seems to work very well and even better I now have a kill switch I can actually get to to turn off the bike.

Hey Nathan, looks the goods! if you have time can you post up what wires went where? I wanna do the same thing. you probably know this, those kato on off switches can get bumped when you standing and because they latch to "off" they can fully stop progress, to stop this you can take out the latch that keeps the off switch from remaining in, making it less likely to stop the motor completely.

What Simmo said. A write up would be ace! My lighting switch block is held together with sikaflex :D

Shang - Motion Pro T3 cable. It has the ends built into the cable which thread into both the throttle body and the carb.

Good tip I'll mod the switch so there is no latch cheers.

I did record what each wire did luckily so I'll throw up a write up shortly.

Technically I didn't do anything today but... Happy b-day to me, my "gifts" arrived today so I will be doing 'something' soon!

Spring tune

I took both my 2011s in to my motor guy to have trusty adjustable power valves installed can't wait to see how they work.

first i looked at how clean id got the seat, then i looked at how clean and freshly lubed the chain was with all the trail muck off, then i looked at how clean the pipe and silencer was,and all the clean white plastic, then i admired the sexy black rims and thought of the clean air filter.finally i could take it no more so i put on my gear and rode it!fed it some fresh steep, tight single track through native bush and a couple long steep hillclimbs on freshly dozed firebreaks.got jammed in a real deep rut against a tree, smacked the gopro with a few branches along the way so got some great treetop footage;),admired the view and generally had a blast!happens everytime i clean it...

Today

Got my new/used kickstarter I bought on E-BAY . Off of 04' 300, looks to be about 13mm shorter. I wonder how much that will affect kickstarting.Didnt open the garage to try it. Anyone else put an earlier kickstarter on a 12-13' ?

Did I buy this from some one on the forum- Mike from Florida .
