2003 EC300 Ohlins FG 013 forks, options to INCREASE sag?

Finally got around to measuring the rider-sag on my '03 EC300, Ohlins manual says 80+/- 5 mm, mine is like 53mm, so my first question is, is there a way to REDUCE the preload (shorter upper spring mount?) to gain back ~25mm?

Since I am not sure mine is a 2002 or 2003, I did some searching on this subject and found I think a link to a FG 012 fork manual for a 2002, and it lists right around 55 mm for sag.

My original concern is the forks felt harsh over small chop....

So, if mine are FG 013, my current 53mm is too short, which might explain the hashness. Manual shows image of a spring mount swap (but no P/N) or alternate spring P/Ns. If they are FG 012, they're right on the money, which means maybe too much compression damping...(?).

Thoughts? And no, right now I am not going to do a KYB swap, but if KYB parts (spring mounts, springs, etc) will work I'll try that.
