Clay Stuckey Update - Man Down!

Clay,

I get that everytime I break a body part!

From what I've seen in PA your a pretty fast 50+ guy. I think that if you complimented that with some more training like the doc said it would be a win win situation for health and results. I also think that it gets to be more of an advantage year by year in that class. We are all on the downhill side like it or not and need all the help we can get.;)

Glad your OK and good luck!

I have been surprised at how many guys here have had this procedure. It's good to know that so many have recovered and are still riding. My wife is a very smart lady but last night she said something really stupid...."Don't you think it's time to retire from racing?" Wow! I thought she knew better than to even waste her breath on those words!
Again...thank you all for the kind words, thought, prayers and words of encouragements.
Clay

i have broken a neck, collar bone, ribs, both ankles... with the last ankle one of our friends asked my wife if that would get me off a bike..
she replied, with no input from me..
" if a broken neck did not stop him, i really doubt an ankle will"

glad to hear you are doing good..

Ditto, after 2 stents around 2 years ago, I bought a new gasser. I exercise and I am careful with my diet. I enjoy my riding more than ever now.:D:D:D Pm me if you have any questions.

The doc said one artery was totally blocked from a McDonald's french fry.

Clay, Just heard about your incident yesterday from Mark. Glad your still hear to tell about it. Well get healed up and you probably are going to have to start substituting those happy meals with a little subway. Ha! Next time your up this way I'll make sure we have plenty of Miller 64's on hand. Get well! Ross

Clay. Glad you are feeling OK!! I at 44 had a widow maker and I am lucky to be alive! Open heart surgery and a year later ALL top 20 overall finishes and a best of 12th overall out of 130-140 riders! Retire. NO. Hec no. eat a bit better. Sure. Good luck in your recovery. Oh yea. A year later I got a stent where one part of my double bypass closed it self off! That grim reaper never takes a break! Godspeed. As far as symptoms. Not many. And a stress test is not near as accurate as and angiogram . But I feel safer doing the stress test! Now that I am on Plavix because of the stent If I get a little cut I bleed like a stuck pig... But it's all good. Good luck.

Really glad to hear ur going to be OK!!
I have only spoken to you once before I bought my '12. You were very kind and helpful. Reason I ride a GG and not KTM!
