Gas Gas Meet n greet ride 4!

Loved my KDX's. Seems like a ton of guys who have owned the KDX make the next move to the Gasgas.

Here were my 2 beauties

Awesome NW woods bikes!

Ha Ha cant wait to check it out Dusty.
As a former owner and racer of a KDX and several KX machines I too have a deep appreciation for things that 2 stroke in green. The KDX was the best bang for your buck dirt bike ever made in my opinion. And yes Many that ride Gas Gas previously rode kawi's.

A Perimeter frame compact bike with alot of similarity's to the Gas Gas. I remember on my 04 Gas Gas 300 a few parts on the bike were actually stamped kx, the rear shock mud guard for one.

Nice bike's Russ.:)

Hey Dusty, I have only seen 2 EC 200s in this state since I've been riding Gas Gas. Rich Fox had one quite a few years back. Not sure if he still has it though. I'm guessing it was a 03 or 04 model year.

Roostafish (mike) and I are planning on coming up for the ride. We will probably come up friday night and stay at Les' place; then drag Les along with us on sat morning.

Jeff

Sweet Jeff, I'll put you guys down! I look forward to seeing you and Mike. And yes please do your best to pull Les away from all that fun he has in his work shop! :)

After this weekends race in the desert, I will be back over here in the trees again looking at good routes to have the ride on. There has been some logging that had cut off one loop I like to do. But that was the last time I was out there, over a month ago, so I will be looking into that.

Also I bought half a cow last year and can bring a bunch of hamburger for a lunch barbeque..... I will have to double check I think I have short ribs too.

Jeff

Now I am really pissed I cant go! Nothing like home grown cow on the grill. I wouldnt mind meeting Les face to face . He really did a nice job on my suspension. And we had some fun conversations on the phone.

Sorry I will miss meeting you. And its great home grown cow too - from my friends ranch - prime beef that is grass fed and finished with oats and grain etc.

Are you sure you can't make it?

I just checked the freezer...

Hamburger. Check.
Short ribs. Check.

Given my new low cholesterol diet....

One big ole salmon fillet. Check.

Add in a bit of microbrew...

Looking forward to roscoes "trails of dreams" :)

And to the guy riding the kdx - no worries as I will be riding a very archaic honda xr250r.

Jeff

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I can't help myself. Jeff and Les' XR's are the way Honda should have built them. Girls bikes no longer.

Maaaaaybe I'll venture to Belfair on a Saturday....not sure how smart it is to ride with Paul and Dusty though

I rode Les' XR. I could go real good on that one in the Tahuya. The Ohlins suspension and plush seat. Like riding a lazy boy. A grueling 8 hour enduro would be pretty comfy on those set up bikes.

Cool Jeff! I can bring the Burger buns and fixins. everyone needs to bring there own drinks. I will start compiling a list of those coming in the next week to get a feel for how much to bring. Also my wife offered to come out a cook and hang out as she did last year.

Ned you should come down and join us.
